Today was another nice day of getting to know Schildtin Upper Secondary School. It was a rainy day so the walk to school was very cold and wet indeed. That is, until we got picked up by a friend who happened to be passing by in her car. We got to school just in time for classes and I decided to join Luulia for first period. Her class was mathematics and, at first, I was nervous it would be boring since I would not understand the lesson but it turned out to be quite the opposite. The class, I discovered, is learning logarithms, a topic I happened to already learn at the beginning of the year. Therefore, I was very excited to see that I could understand the lesson. Math really is a universal language!
I spent the rest of the day mostly on my own, save for lunch time. I explored the school and got some work done on my own during classes and, at the end of the day, spent time on one of the school's computers downloading material for the video from the school's website onto a memory stick. I was vey happy to find lots of great photos and footage for me to use!
After school, we went home, relaxed, had dinner, and then all hung out in the living room. We had un playing this game where we took turns playing our favourite songs for each other and judging them. It was funny because we were planning on going to bed early but ended up settling down at around 12. Oops!
